Sophie Jordan
Meet Sophie, Simply Knitting magazine’s Deputy Editor for the past seven years and a devoted knitter for 45 years. Sophie’s love for all crafts knows no bounds; you’ll often catch her sewing, crocheting, or embroidering in her downtime. Starting her career in the cross-stitching domain with The World of Cross Stitching and Cross Stitcher magazines, Sophie later ventured into the realm of hair and beauty magazines, contributing her expertise as Commissioning Editor for over a decade. Yet, the irresistible pull of crafting, especially knitting, led Sophie back to her passion projects. In 2016, she returned to her roots at Knit Today magazine before transitioning to Simply Knitting in 2017. Now, also a confident knit designer, Sophie lends her creative touch to Simply Knitting, The Knitter magazines, and yarn brand, Scheepjes. Throughout the year, she happily takes on various private commissions.
