With 12 projects unique to each month, this calendar is guaranteed to keep you busy throughout the year
After months of working in secret, the team at Simply Knitting are delighted to announce the 2027 Calendar, which comes with 12 beautiful and thoughtfully designed patterns.
If you – like many knitters – are finding yourself getting ahead with planning projects for the New Year, the calendar is a fantastic way to stay organised and keep on top of your knitting plans. You’ll know exactly what’s coming up, which yarn you’ll need, and each month you’ll have a finished project designed with the season in mind.

The new calendar features 12 individual ragdoll patterns, sponsored by Scheepjes and made using its lovely Kindsome and Softfun yarn. These wool-blend and cotton-blend yarns will bring a gentle texture and vibrant colour to your finished dolls.
New subscribers can receive the calendar when they subscribe through this special link, receiving 3 issues of Simply Knitting, plus the calendar, for only £19.99.
Here are just some of our favourites from this year’s calendar.

See you on the slopes!
January kicks off the calendar with a bang, with breathtaking attention to detail including the miniature mustard yellow cable knit jumper. The doll even features two tiny ski polls, complete with snow baskets at the end.
Make sure your January doll is wrapped up warmly, by completing the design with a bobble hat and ski goggles for safety.

Roses are red
Of course, what would a calendar be without an ode to Valentine’s Day? February’s doll is a sweet homage to all things romance.
Wearing a jumper with a heart detail, a pink bow hair accessory and a layered skirt, this doll will be a fun and achievable challenge for knitters.

Is it that time of year already?
It’s never too early to be thinking about Christmas, and if you’re wondering what December 2027 has in store, you’ll be delighted to see this doll’s marvellous festive outfit.
One of Father Christmas’ helpers has escaped from the North Pole and could be all yours, topped off with an elf’s hat and dainty belted jumper.

This superb calendar was designed by toy knitting designer Amanda Berry, also known as “fluffandfuzz”, in collaboration with Simply Knitting and Scheepjes. Amanda is an expert in toy design, from incredible farmyard animals to underwater creatures and garden beasts.
